Kmesh.io, the technological leader in multi-cloud data orchestration, announces the appointment of Joe Rouvier as Vice President of Operations. With nearly 20 years of cloud and multi-cloud software expertise, Rouvier will be responsible for Kmesh’s operational and architectural excellence around multi-cloud and edge software and services.

Rouvier, who picked up the nickname ‘Lord of Packets’, built massive cloud networks at numerous startups including: Neumob (acquired by Cloudflare), Ooyala (acquired by Telstra) and Netli (Acquired by Akamai). “Kmesh has impressive multi-cloud technology leadership with a flexible, Lustre-based architecture. I’m excited to join the Kmesh team and drive innovation in the multi-cloud, zettabyte data era,” said Rouvier.
Rouvier’s hiring follows numerous Kmesh appointments of experienced alumni of Accenture, Akamai, Ankeena, BitGravity, CDNetworks, EMC/XtremeIO, PMC-Sierra, Sprint-Nextel, TATA, and VMware, including CEO Jeff Kim, Chief Architect Michael Nishimoto, VP Engineering Ramanand Narayanan, and VP Product/Marketing Vinay Gaonkar.
